Drawing and Printing
Since the structure of a compound is the most informative chemical data that can be provided to a chemist, structures are often included into published material. It is therefore important to have access to high quality tools for the conversion of molecular files into graphic file formats that can be incorporated into documents.
Converting Chemical Files to Images
IMAGE is designed to convert structure files into raster (GIF, PNG, BMP) or vector (WMF, EMF, EPS) images. These file formats can be used to embed 2D depicts or flattened 3D structures into documents. These file formats can also be imported in digital imaging software for graphic design.
Laying Out Chemical Files in Printable Documents
PAGE converts chemical files into formatted documents. The application provides many parameters to control page layout. The resulting PostScript file can printed or converted into a PDF document.
